The All-American Jazz Collective* is a newly-formed jazz combo currently based in Fayetteville, North Carolina.  We recently won the First Place Prize for the top jazz band of the night at Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra's Jazz Fest!

Who we are

Jenne Carey

Keys / Vocals


Jenne is a singer, actor, pianist and educator.  On the piano, Jenne was most recently heard in the band of Sweet Tea Shakespeare's "Songs for a New World".  Jenne holds a Master of Music degree and  is on the full-time faculty at Fayetteville Technical Community College.

Daniel Pappas

Sax / Clarinet

Dr. Daniel Pappas is an award-winning composer whose music has enjoyed success at the national and international levels.  He holds a Doctorate in Music and is on the full-time faculty at Fayetteville Technical Community College.

Anthony Russell



Anthony Russell is a multi-instrumentalist who has been active in NC for many years.  He is a former Assistant Band Director and is a combat military vet going back to school to finish his degree in music performance.  He recently began studying composition under the direction of Dr. Pappas.

Tim Stewart



Tim Stewart is a multi-instrumentalist from the Fayetteville area who is currently studying the bass guitar at FTCC and plans to pursue the recording arts at a 4-year university. He is also one of the two members in the recording project known as the Sands of Time.
